Different Watercolor Techniques

There are different types of watercolor techniques. Try it & let me know which one you like most

Splatter

• This is one of my favorites technique, it adds additional beauty to the final piece of work, more over its always fun to play with.
• Let your original piece of work to dry completely before you splatter your color
• Use contrast color to have the best result
• The tricky part in splatter is “use of water”. Too much water will spoil & too less water will not have the impact we want hence we just need the right amount of water.
• Dip your brush in watercolor and take out the extra water ; then use it to splatter

Layering

• Layering helps to show the color beneath
• Use the transparent color on top of another to build the layers
